'FREE' Community Shred Day

'FREE' Community Shred Day

As a service to our members and our community, GO FCU held our 2nd 'FREE' Community Shred Day in the parking lot of our Lancaster Branch. We exceeded our first shred day of approximately 5,000 lbs. of paper, by shredding approximately 7,000 lbs. this go around!

With consumer fraud and identity theft on the rise, it is more important than ever to protect yourself.

Some examples of items that should be shred are: documents with credit card or social security numbers; cancelled checks; financial records; legal records; pay stubs; tax returns; and pre-approved credit applications.

Watch for details of our next 'FREE' Community Shred Day event in the spring of 2014.
